SSS Wednesday Challenge: Guy Thing

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog 
This week the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog is "Guy Thing." We are featuring Tim Holtz  products this week, you don't have to use them to join in, but we would love to see them! The best thing about Tim Holtz is the endless possibilities with his products. From his beloved distress inks, paints, stains and sprays, The Stampers Anonymous Collection or his fabulous ideology line, you can do just about anything!

So for this weeks card, I started off 'smooshing' various colours of distress inks onto my craft mat. I spritzed it with water and then swiped a piece of distress water colour cardstock through it. I repeatedly dried it and pounced it back in the remaining colour till I was happy with it! 

Next I Stamped the circle image and then masked it off with just a post-it. Then I stamped the vertical image over top. When I took off the post-it it looked like it was behind.  Then I stamped the gas station image with a grey archival ink. I stamped the route sign on a separate piece of paper and cut it out and inked around the edges. 

To finish it off I distressed around parts of the edges and inked around the whole panel with distress ink. I added my sentiment and added it to a A2 sized card.
