Busy, Busy, Busy.

Sorry, I haven't posted in the past two weeks. I've been busy with school, work, drama and dance. I will do my best to try and resume my regular Monday posts next week!

Christmas Tags with Lawn Fawn!

I made a set of 5 gift tags. I used a My Minds Eye paper pad which is unfortunately retired and couldn't link to. :/

But these were quick and easy to make using only one stamp set. I first stamped, embossed and die cut all the tags and then decorated accordingly. To make matching reinforcements I 'smooshed' the versamark ink pad onto some scrap paper and poured embossing powder all over and die cut out of the embossed paper. 

Not much to explain haha. They're pretty self-explanatory.

I also did the backs and since the paper is double sided it made it a lot quicker.

Balloon Travel + SSS Wednesday Challenge

I'm just squeezing this in to a Monday post. haha. It's 11:30 where I live. Ooops. 

But today I'm entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: (Floating away on balloons counts as a type of transportation, right? haha)

I started by stamping and masking the balloon repeatedly to create the cluster of balloons, then took a black sharpie to create the strings. I stamped the deer and then coloured the deer and balloons in with distress inks and a water brush. I also water coloured the grass. I die cut the balloons from white cardstock and adhered them down. 

 I inked around the edges with tumbled glass distress ink and then adhered it to an A2 card. I chose to not add a sentiment because I felt like it would have been too much on the card and I didn't want to add anything else. I loved how it turned out, and it would work well for almost any occasion!
